As the visionary co-founder of Lake Days Rentals, Pamela and her husband Mike have grown their family-run company at the Lake of the Ozarks from a single property in 2021 to managing nearly 200 properties today. And it all started with something simple: a vision board and a dream of buying a boat. ## From Vision Board to Visionary Leader Pamela’s entrepreneurial journey wasn’t meticulously planned—it was sparked by spontaneity. What began as one lake house investment quickly revealed a gap in the market for property management that was fair, technology-driven, and people-centered. Instead of waiting for someone else to fill the gap, Pamela stepped in and built Lake Days Rentals from the ground up.   By Memorial Day of 2022, the company had scaled from one property to 25, and by Labor Day, to 50. Fast forward to today, and they’re managing nearly 200 homes, hosting over 3,200 stays this year alone. ## Leading with Heart and Strategy Pamela’s leadership style blends collaboration with directness—a balance she admits she had to learn along the way. She believes in giving everyone a voice, while also providing the clarity and structure needed for teams to thrive. Her philosophy is rooted in servant leadership, but with a twist: it’s about creating systems that can exist without her.   “Great leaders can build and grow, but exceptional leaders create systems that can exist without them.”   This focus on sustainability is what drives Pamela forward. For her, leadership is not just about scaling numbers but about ensuring every team member, homeowner, and guest feels positively impacted by the mission of Lake Days Rentals. ## Balancing Family and Business As a wife and mother of six, Pamela has long blurred the lines between business and family—in the best way. For over two decades, her children have been part of her ventures, learning firsthand what it means to contribute, grow, and lead.   She’s candid about the challenges of balance, admitting that different seasons of life bring different lessons. For Pamela, involving her family in the business isn’t just practical—it’s an intentional way of empowering her children to find their own voices. ## Lessons for Leaders Everywhere Pamela’s story is more than a business success—it’s a reminder that leadership requires adaptability, courage, and vision. From shifting her hiring strategy to confronting the realities of seasonal tourism, she’s faced hard decisions head-on. What sets her apart is her ability to turn challenges into growth opportunities, all while keeping her mission front and center: to positively influence each life they touch. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, executive, or community leader, Pamela’s journey offers inspiration: dream big, stay curious, and lead with both heart and structure. ## Final Thoughts Pamela Quinn’s leadership is proof that business growth and human connection don’t have to be at odds. At Lake Days Rentals, the numbers tell one story—but the people, the culture, and the mission tell an even more powerful one. Pamela isn’t just building a rental company at the lake; she’s building a legacy of leadership, family, and sustainable growth.   Learn more at [https://LakeDays.Rentals](https://lakedays.rentals/) Watch the full interview here: [https://youtu.be/Y3U11jNE5jE](https://youtu.be/Y3U11jNE5jE) [Leadership](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/tag/leadership) ## Related posts [![Built to Lead: Resilience, Service, and Sales with Kim Harrington](https://unleashyouramazing.com/hs-fs/hubfs/2-2.png?height=200&name=2-2.png)](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/built-to-lead-resilience-service-and-sales-with-kim-harrington) [Leadership](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/tag/leadership) ## [Built to Lead: Resilience, Service, and Sales with Kim Harrington](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/built-to-lead-resilience-service-and-sales-with-kim-harrington) ![Picture of Tammy Ebright](https://unleashyouramazing.com/hs-fs/hubfs/me.png?width=50&name=me.png) [Tammy Ebright](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/author/tammy-ebright) Aug 20, 2025, 8:07:39 AM [Read more](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/built-to-lead-resilience-service-and-sales-with-kim-harrington) [![Pia Washington on wealth](https://unleashyouramazing.com/hs-fs/hubfs/3-2.png?height=200&name=3-2.png)](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/real-wealth-isnt-just-money-health-peace-and-purpose-in-leadership) [EQ](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/tag/eq), [Leadership](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/tag/leadership) ## [Real Wealth Isn’t Just Money: Health, Peace, and Purpose in Leadership](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/real-wealth-isnt-just-money-health-peace-and-purpose-in-leadership) ![Picture of Tammy Ebright](https://unleashyouramazing.com/hs-fs/hubfs/me.png?width=50&name=me.png) [Tammy Ebright](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/author/tammy-ebright) Jan 28, 2026, 8:14:59 AM [Read more](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/real-wealth-isnt-just-money-health-peace-and-purpose-in-leadership) [![Profit with Purpose: Eric Mitchell on The Why of Money, Leadership, and Second Chances](https://unleashyouramazing.com/hs-fs/hubfs/eric%20mitchell%20promo.png?height=200&name=eric%20mitchell%20promo.png)](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/profit-with-purpose-eric-mitchell-on-the-why-of-money-leadership-and-second-chances) [Leadership](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/tag/leadership) ## [Profit with Purpose: Eric Mitchell on The Why of Money, Leadership, and Second Chances](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/profit-with-purpose-eric-mitchell-on-the-why-of-money-leadership-and-second-chances) ![Picture of Tammy Ebright](https://unleashyouramazing.com/hs-fs/hubfs/me.png?width=50&name=me.png) [Tammy Ebright](https://unleashyouramazing.com/blog/author/tammy-ebright) Sep 22, 2025, 8:57:39 PM This week on Unleash Your Amazing Leadership, I had the privilege of sitting down with Eric...
